Secure Architecture
Security, permissions and data integrity considered from day one.
Traceability, Provenance, and Multi-Party Coordination — We have built supply chain traceability systems on blockchain since 2014. 1,000+ blockchain projects. We build permissioned networks that give every supply chain participant — supplier, manufacturer, logistics provider, retailer — a single, tamper-evident record of every custody transfer, quality certification, and compliance event.

Executive Answer
Key information at a glance
Supply chain fraud costs US businesses $950 billion annually. Counterfeit goods alone account for 3.3% of global trade — $509 billion — according to the OECD. The fundamental problem is that each supply chain participant maintains a separate system of record, creating a fragmented, unverifiable picture that fraudsters exploit. Blockchain creates a shared, immutable record that every participant can trust without trusting each other.
Record every custody transfer, location event, and quality certification on a shared blockchain. Any participant — or any consumer with a QR code — can verify the complete provenance of a product from raw material to retail shelf. For food safety (FDA Food Safety Modernization Act compliance), pharmaceutical traceability (DSCSA compliance), and luxury goods anti-counterfeiting, this is the highest-value blockchain use case in manufacturing.
Certifications, audit reports, and compliance documents stored on-chain with immutable timestamp and hash verification. If a certification is altered after submission, the hash mismatch is immediately detectable. For businesses with complex supplier compliance requirements — conflict minerals, fair trade, environmental certifications — this eliminates the document verification burden from every procurement cycle.
Smart contracts that automate payment release on delivery confirmation — eliminating the 30–60 day payment cycle that stresses supplier liquidity. Buyer commits funds to escrow; smart contract releases on GPS confirmation of delivery, quality inspection sign-off, and quantity verification.
IoT sensor data integrated with blockchain via oracle. Temperature excursions recorded immutably. For pharmaceutical cold chain, food cold chain, and medical device transport, an immutable temperature record is both a compliance requirement and a liability management tool.
The challenge: A US pharmaceutical distributor needed to achieve Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) compliance: serialization, verification, and tracing of every prescription drug package through the supply chain. Their existing system relied on paper-based lot records and email chains that could not be verified for authenticity.
What we built: A permissioned blockchain network (Hyperledger Fabric) connecting the distributor, 12 suppliers, and 3 logistics providers. Each drug package serialized and recorded at origin. Every custody transfer recorded on-chain with timestamp and participant identity. DSCSA-required verification queries resolved in under 200ms.
Results: 100% DSCSA compliance achieved. Audit preparation time reduced by 40%. Suspect product verification time reduced from 3 business days to 4 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers to common strategic, technical and implementation questions related to this industry.
No. Suppliers interact with the blockchain via an API or a simple web portal — they do not need to run blockchain nodes or understand the underlying technology. From a supplier's perspective, it is a digital form submission. The blockchain layer is invisible.
Via API. We build an integration layer between the blockchain network and your ERP (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) that synchronizes supply chain events bidirectionally. The blockchain adds an immutable audit layer; your ERP continues to run your operations.
